Some emotions don’t arrive loudly. They gather quietly beneath the surface, layer upon layer, until one day they can no longer remain hidden.

This painting began as a calm, weathered landscape of soft greys - a place of stillness and space. But as each layer dried, colour demanded to be heard. Crimson rushed in first, followed by embers of orange and yellow, while deep prussian blue rose like quiet resilience through the chaos.

The drips were intentional. They became evidence that even beautiful things can overflow.

“Between the Silence” is about that moment when everything you’ve been carrying finally becomes movement instead of weight.
